APPOINTMENT OF OFFICERS <br /> Support was voiced for both Allan Weinand and Nancy Wickhem to serve as <br /> chairpersons. The item was tabled due to Allan's absence. It was not known whether <br /> Allan was interested and willing to accept the appointment. <br /> D -2. ANNUAL ICE CREAM SOCIAL <br /> Carol Kriegler reported on arrangements in place for the Ice Cream Social. Stomp N' <br /> Dixie is scheduled to provide musical entertainment and a dunk tank is reserved for <br /> the evening. The local Chamber of Commerce and Falcon Heights /Lauderdale Lions <br /> Club will have representatives at the social to help serve. Commission members will <br /> sell tickets and operate the dunk tank. Firefighters and coaches will serve as <br /> "dunkees <br /> D -3. TIME -IN PLAYGROUND PROGRAM REPORT <br /> Carol Kriegler and Nancy Wickhem gave a brief report on the status of the Time -In <br /> program. Attendance has been about 20 or 30 kids coming and going throughout a <br /> daily session. Financial contributions have totaled about 140.00 so far. It was felt <br /> that it was still too early to be pessimistic about the voluntary contribution method for <br /> support of the program. It was suggested that a barometer be employed to <br /> communicate the current level of support and continuing need. <br />
