1975 1978: Community Development Planner, City of Winona, Minnesota. Prepared and <br /> coordinated the city's Community Development Block Grant Program. Developed the <br /> Downtown Historic Rehabilitation Grant Program for economic development. Responsible for: <br /> directing the community development citizen participation process; advising the community <br /> development committee, the city council and the public on community development grant <br /> requirements and projects; preparing grant applications and environmental assessments; and <br /> reporting to state and federal agencies. Administered the city's housing rehabilitation program <br /> and dilapidated housing acquisition /relocation project. Staffed the Board of Adjustment, the <br /> task force on site selection for a senior community center and the Downtown Historic <br /> Rehabilitation Grant Review Board.
