Fire Department Operational Analysis RFP
Miller presented the draft RFP and stated that it was staffs attempt to put into writing the goals
desired by the city council. Councilmember Harris inquired about how an analysis of options
could be included that related to the cost /benefit of services being provided by outside
agencies. Miller stated that he would work on some draft language. The council desired that
this be started as soon as possible, and Miller stated that he will try to place a new draft on the
November 11th city council agenda.
2012 Enterprise Fund Budgets and 2012 -2016 Capital Improvements Plan
The council reviewed each budget and directed staff to move forward with the plan as
proposed with the exception of pushing the 2012 street projects back to 2013. Also, staff alerted
the council that the enterprise fund fees would be coming to the council at their November 11th
city council meeting in order to accommodate the billing cycle at St. Paul Regional Water
Services.
The workshop concluded at 8:30 p.m.
