HomeMy WebLinkAboutCCWkspMin 10-3-12Falcon Heights Council Workshop Minutes October 3 , 2012 Members present: Mayor Lindstrom, Council M embers Long , Harris , and Gosline Members absent: Council Member Mercer -Taylor Others present: City Administrator Bart Fischer , Finance Director Roland Olson , Assistant to the Administrator Michelle Tesser 2012 -2013 Local Government Innovation Awards The Mayor highlighted the fact that the 2012 -2013 Local Government Innovation Awards were accepting nominations. Council directed staff to submit a nominat ion for the City’s Adopt a Crop Program and Community Garden. Annual Park & Recreation Update Assistant to the Administrator Tesser provided a presentation regarding 2012 Park & R ecreation P rograms. Overall, the 2012 Park & Recreation Department had a po sitive year . 2013 -2017 Draft Capital Improvement Plan and 2013 Draft Enterprise Fund Budget Discussion. Staff presented information and there was discussion on the 2013 -2017 Capital Improvement Plan as well as the 2013 Enterprise Fund Budgets in anticipat ion of the 2013 Budget hearing at the December 12, 2012, Regular Council Meeting.
