HomeMy WebLinkAboutCCWkspMin 7-18-12Falcon Heights Council Workshop Minutes July 18 , 2012 Members present: Mayor Lindstrom, Council M embers Long , Harris and Mercer -Taylor Members absent: Gosline Others present: City Administrator Bart Fischer , Public Works Director Tim Pittman , Finance Director Roland Olson, City Engineers Deb Bloom and Kris Giga (for road tour only) Tour of Road/Street Conditions in Falcon Heights In anticipation of upcoming budget discussions on capital improvements to roads, Council and staff toured a few of the roa ds in the City to witness their condition. Discussion of Special Revenue and Debt Service Budgets Staff presented initial drafts of the Special Revenue and Debt Service Budgets. Discussion was had and Council indicated comfort in generally moving forward with what was presented. Staff also presented a proposal, during the Fund 209 Street Lighting discussion, for replacement of certain City maintained exterior lights with LED bulbs. Council directed staff to pursue replacement of bulbs as needed and with in budgeted costs. The workshop concluded at 7:30 p.m. Respectfully submitted, Bart Fischer City Administrator
