H. INFORMATION/ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Council Member Beth Mercer-Taylor
-A U of M Student sponsored Compost Day workshop will be held on May 20th
from
6:30-8:00 pm at Community Park
Council Member Chuck Long
-The Human Rights commission’s Spring Together event will be held on May 21st
from
6:00-8:00pm at Curtiss Field
-Provided an update on the FEMA Emergency Management Training that he and Bart
Fischer recently attended with representatives of Ramsey County
Council Member Keith Gosline
-Gave an update on NYFS activities
Mayor Peter Lindstrom
-Mentioned the Lion’s Club used bike event that will be held on May 18th
from 10:00am-
2:00pm at City Hall
-Provided a reminder that the Fire Department still has a need for additional staff and
encouraged people to apply.
City Administrator Bart Fischer
-Mentioned that the Public Works crew has finished street sweeping and will once again
concentrate on filling potholes as weather permits.
