*Due to representatives of Applied Energy Alternatives arriving later in the evening, the agenda
item relating to the Draft 2014 Budget was discussed first.
1) Presentation of the first DRAFT of the 2014 General Fund Budget
The City Administrator and Finance Director presented the draft of the 2014 Budget as
supplied in the agenda packet to the Council. Council discussed the budget and
directed staff to make minor changes and present the Draft 2014 Budget again at the
September 4, 2013, Council Workshop.
2) Presentation by Applied Energy Alternatives on a Possible Solar Panel Array in
Community Park
Representatives from Applied Energy Alternatives presented information and the
attached PowerPoint (provided by them at the meeting) regarding a possible solar array
within the City of Falcon Heights. A number of public and private sites could be
utilized for this array, including Community Park.
The workshop concluded at 8:46 p.m.
