1) Presentation/Discussion of the DRAFT 2014 Enterprise and 5 Year Capital Budgets
Council and staff discussed the Draft 2014 Enterprise and 5 Year Capital Budgets.
Council directed staff to move forward with the budgets as presented. Final
adoption will be at the 2014 Budget Hearing to take place on December 11, 2013, at
7:00 pm.
2) Discussion Regarding Possible Amendment to the On-Sale Liquor License-Sec 6-24
This item was moved forward on the agenda due to the attendance of
representatives from a party interested in this ordinance change. Staff explained
there was an interested party looking to change or make an exception to the On-Sale
Liquor Ordinance in relation to the amount of food that needs to be sold to obtain
this type of liquor license. After discussion, Council directed staff to consult the City
Attorney as to options regarding possible changes to the ordinance.
3) Discussion on a Park Improvement Study
After visiting each park this summer and taking feedback from residents, it is the
desire of the Park Commission to use a portion of the Park Dedication fee money
from the redevelopment of the Hermes site on a park needs assessment/study. Staff
discussed the idea with Council and Council directed staff to move forward with the
process of authorizing and completing the study.
