Meeting Minutes
January 9, 2012
Present: Diane Ross, Brian Goodspeed, Peter Lindstrom, Deb Jones (Staff)
Guests Kathy Quick and Eriks Dunens of the Humphrey Institute
Absent: Rebecca Montgomery, Nina Semmelroth, Ethan Wagner, Stan Sveen
1. At 6:38 p.m., the Chairs noting that there was not a quorum present, the meeting was not
called to order and all matters of official business were tabled to February.
2. Commissioners present said they had no objection to the coal tar sealant ordinance going
directly to the City Council. Mayor Lindstrom said that it could be added to an upcoming
Council agenda as a policy item.
3. Ms. Quick and Mr. Dunens of the Humphrey Institute proceeded with the planned focus
group on the Emerald Ash Borer with Commissioners Ross and Goodspeed, Mayor
Lindstrom and Ms. Jones of the City staff. A copy of the survey that was administered and
interview information is appended to these minutes.
The meeting adjourned at 8:06 pm.
