Members present: Mayor Lindstrom, Council Members Long and Gosline
Members absent: Council Members Harris and Mercer-Taylor
City Staff present: City Administrator Bart Fischer and Assistant to the Administrator Tesser
1) Presentation/Discussion on the History of the League of Women Voters of Roseville,
Maplewood and Falcon Heights by representatives of the League.
Gwen Willems, Mary Dudlleston and Faye Olson of the League of Women Voters
presented information on the history of the League and their latest project, Meddlers,
Activists and Watchdogs: The History of the League of Women Voters of Roseville,
Maplewood and Falcon Heights.
2) Discussion on the Park Improvement Study and Direction to the Parks Commission
and Staff moving forward.
Council and staff discussed the recently adopted Park Improvement Study
conducted by WSB. Council directed staff and the Parks Commission to begin
master plans for each park based off of the recommendations in the study. Council
also directed staff and the Parks Commission to begin looking at the parks as a
system of parks vs. individual parks as per the recommendations in the study.
The workshop concluded at 7:47 p.m.
