Environmental Commission Minutes
June 8, 2015
PRESENT: Commissioners Hall, Hartman, Montgomery, and Holmes, Staff Liaison Moretto
ABSENT: Council Liaison Mercer-Taylor
The meeting was called to order at 6:36 p.m. by Chair Holmes.
The minutes of the June 8, 2015 meeting of the Environmental Commission were approved.
Ice Cream Social
The Environmental Commission is to have a table at the Ice Cream Social.
There will be a place for possible recruiting of new Commissioners.
Board with broachers and flyers.
Compost and organics info.
Paul will contact Ramsey County to gather supplies, games, and other event items. Paul will also
find signage.
2015 Recycling RFP – Update
Postpone the next meeting by one week – August 17th.
Skype in Montgomery – ask Beth
Paul to create a matrix based on the one given by Commissioner Montgomery.
Look for files by Justin Miller.
The proposal was passed by the City Council and was to be posted and delivered to interested
parties. Posting included the website, local newspaper, and other media sources.
