C. PRESENTATIONS:
1. Northeast Youth & Family Services
• Jerry Hromatka, President and CEO of Northeast Youth and Family Service
(NYFS) provided a presentation of their services. NYFS provides services to 5-21
year olds and has served about 4,000 youth in 2015 through their programs for
Mental Health, Youth Development, and Day Treatment. Falcon Heights is one
of fifteen municipalities that partners with NYFS. This partnership helps provide
resources to residents, and helps the organization be able to match funds for
grants. Falcon Heights Families have utilized services in 2015 for counseling,
diversion, senior chore, and other non -contracted services.

Council Member Harris:
She is excited to be getting a grandchild soon.
CM Administrator Sack Thongyanh:
• The city is looking to fill positions for Parks and Recreation: Summer Program
Coordinator, Head Activities Leader, Recreation Leaders, and Tennis Instructors.
• The city sponsored a solar power hour. The event was to inform homeowners,
businesses, and farmers about the benefits of getting solar.
• AARP is doing taxes on Tuesdays and Thursdays at City Hall from 9am-12pm.
• Falcon Heights Elementary Kids Stuff Sale is Saturday, April 9w from 8:30am-
12:30pm. Admission is free.
Mayor Lindstrom:
Thank you to the Falcon Heights/Lauderdale Lions Club for hosting an informative
event about The Good Acre.
