~~~ <br />MINUTES <br />SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />DECEMBER 16, 1993 <br />Baldwin convened the meeting at 7:05 p.m. <br />ALL MEMBERS PRESENT <br />Baldwin, Ciernia, Gehrz. Gibson Talbot and Jacobs. Also present <br />were Chenoweth and Hoyt. <br />MINUTES OF 12/08/93 APPROVED <br />Council approved the Minutes of December 8, 1993 by unanimous <br />consent. <br />CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />Council approved the following Consent Agenda by unanimous consent: <br /> 1. General disbursements through 12/10/93, $78,545.21 <br /> 2. Licenses (see attached list) <br /> 3. Approval of skating rink attendant and maintenance staff <br /> personnel <br /> ADOPTION OF THE 1994 BUDGET <br /> Baldwin explained that this is the final step in adopting the 1994 <br /> budget as addressed at the public hearing on December 8, 1993. He <br /> indicated that in future years council hopes to develop a system <br /> whereby the public can become involved in the entire budgeting <br /> process beginning with the budget workshops. <br />Gibson Talbot moved adoption of Resolution R-93-40 which carried <br />unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION R-93-40 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 1994 BUDGET <br />AND CERTIFYING THE 1994 TAX LEVY <br />PROPOSED RESOLUTION R-93-41 ADOPTED <br />Gehrz moved adoption of Resolution R-93-41 which carried <br />unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION R-93-41 <br />A RESOLUTION REDUCING THE 1994 DEBT LEVY ON <br />GENERAL OBLIGATION DEBT <br />
