MINUTES
REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
MAY 13, 1992
Baldwin convened the meeting at 7:00 p.m.
ALL MEMBERS PRESENT
Baldwin, Ciernia, Gehrz, Gibson Talbot and Jacobs. Also present
were Chenoweth, Hoyt and Maurer.
MINUTES OF 4/22/92 APPROVED
The Minutes of May 22, 1992 were approved by unanimous consent.
ADDENDUM TO CONSENT AGENDA
Council approved the addition of Item C-8, Authorization for city
Clerk to Submit Presidential Primary Election Reimbursement
Request, to the Consent Agenda.
CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED
1. Disbursements:
a. General Disbursements through 5/7/92, $102,840.84
b. Payroll, 4/16/92 - 4/30/92, $10,569.72
2. Licenses: Mr. Movies, #0961 and Nelson Water, Inc.

3. Approval of Variance Request from Albrecht, 2291 Hoyt,
to Construct a Garage 14 Feet from Front Lot Line
4. Approval of Request from Thimsen, 1857 Fairview, for a
247 Sq. Ft. Variance from the Accessory Building Lot
Coverage Requirement to Allow for Addition of a Four
Season Porch to the Existing Double Garage
5. Approval of Cable Company Purchase of Video Playback
Deck for the City, (to be Funded by City Cable Funds)
6. Awarding of the Community Park Play Equipment Project
to E. F. Anderson & Associates ($30,000)
7. Cancellation of June 10, 1992 Council Meeting
8. Authorization for City Clerk to Submit Request for
Reimbursement of Certain Presidential Primary Expenses
PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED CLEVELAND AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS,
LARPENTEUR TO CLEVELAND
Baldwin opened the hearing at 7:09 p.m. and explained the only
affected abutting property is owned by the University of
Minnesota. There being no one wishing to be heard the hearing
was closed at 7:10 p.m. Jacobs then moved adoption of
Resolution R-92-16 which carried unanimously.

AVENUE, LARPENTEUR TO ROSELAWN AVENUES
PUBLIC HEARING ON ASSSEMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT OF CLEVELAND AVENUE,
LARPENTEUR TO CLEVELAND
Baldwin opened the public hearing at 7:12 p.m., and explained
that the only property owner being assessed is the University of
Minnesota. They will be assessed in accordance with the city's
present assessment policy but will not be assessed for the area
abutting the city's community park. There being no one wishing
to be heard the hearing was closed at 7:14 p.m. Gehrz moved
adoption of Resolution R-92-17 which carried unanimously.
