HomeMy WebLinkAboutCCMin_92Jul9_Special' ' ~. ~ .~ MINUTES SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING JULY 9, 1992 Baldwin convened the meeting at 6:00 p.m. ALL MEMBERS PRESENT Baldwin, Ciernia, Gehrz, Gibson Talbot and Jacobs. were Chenoweth, Hoyt and Westerberg. ADDENDUM TO AGENDA Also present Council approved the addition of Item P-1, Scheduling of a Budget Workshop, to the agenda. PUBLIC HEARING ON THE VACATION OF EASEMENTS FOR LOTS 3, 4, 5 AND 6 OF STRATFORD OFFICE PARK Baldwin opened the Public Hearing at 6:04 p.m. and explained that the action is necessary to allow for moving existing utilities to accommodate platting of the Rottlund Homes townhome development. There being no one in attendance wishing to be heard the hearing was closed at 6:06 p.m. PROPOSED RESOLUTION APPROVING VACATION OF EASEMENTS FOR LOTS 3, 4, 5 AND 6 OF STRATFORD OFFICE PARK Hoyt reviewed changes in the language of the proposed resolution approving the vacation of easements after which Jacobs moved adoption of Resolution R-92-26 contingent upon satisfaction of the city engineer and both the city attorney and the attorney for Rottlund Homes. Motion carried unanimously. RESOLUTION R-92-26 J A RESOLUTION VACATING CERTAIN DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS ON LOTS 3, 4, 5 AND 6, STRATFORD OFFICE PARK ADDITION ADOPTION OF PROPOSED RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY AND FINAL PLAT OF MAPLE KNOLLS SUBDIVISION Westerberg explained that the preliminary and final plat are being done in unison and is now ready for approval. Ciernia moved adoption of Resolution R-92-27 contingent upon satisfaction of the city attorney and city engineer. Motion carried unanimously.
