D. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
1. Approval of May 4, 2020 minutes.

E. AGENDA:
1. Community Garden Expansion
• Community Garden Expansion: reviewed past process that created the
community garden at Community Park; discussed options for the expansion
of the community garden to accommodate people that have been on the
waiting list over repeated years (approximately 5 – 7 people annually);
council members agreed to the expansion of the existing garden to
accommodate up to 10 more plots; Shaun Curtin volunteered to represent the
Parks & Rec Commission on the Steering Committee.
F. INFORMATION/ANNOUNCEMENT
- Twins Youth Baseball Clinic and Ice Cream Social: 2020 Events Summer
Programming: Ice Cream Social and MN Twins Youth Baseball Clinic cancelled by
City Council and Twins organization respectively.
- Good Neighbor Grant 2020: The City of Falcon Heights has received the 2020 Good
Neighbor Grant for Parks Programming. Due to COVID-19 the funds will be used in
2021.
