RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF BEN SMITH FROM THE FALCON
HEIGHTS VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the City has a Volunteer Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, Ben Smith was appointed to the Falcon Heights Volunteer Fire Department on November 2,
2010 and has submitted a letter of resignation.
WHEREAS, Ben Smith submitted his "Letter of Resignation" (email) to Captain Patrick Gaffney on
January 23, 2020 and stated that he has moved out of the area and can no longer make fire calls.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights,
Minnesota:
1. That the "Letter of Resignation (email)" is accepted by the City Council of the City of Falcon
Heights.
