RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND APPROVING CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS
COVID-19 PREPAREDNESS PLAN
WHEREAS, on March 13, 2020, Governor Tim Walz, by way of Emergency Executive Order 20-01, declared a
Peacetime State of Emergency to authorize any and all necessary resources to be used in support of the COVID-
19 response, effective immediately, which Peacetime Emergency has been extended by Executive Order through
June 12, 2020; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Executive Order 20-74, Critical Businesses, including the City of Falcon Heights, are
required to develop and implement a COVID-19 Preparedness Plan as set forth in paragraph Te of Executive
Order 20-74 and in accordance with the industry guidance currently posted to the Stay Safe Minnesota website
(https:Hstaysafe.mn.gov) and any additional applicable industry guidance that will be posted to the Stay Safe
Minnesota website (https:Hstaysafe.mn.gov); and
WHEREAS, the City has prepared the attached City of Falcon Heights COVID-19 Preparedness Plan based on
the industry guidance posted on the Stay Safe Minnesota Website.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, as
follows:
1. The City Council hereby approves and adopts the attached City of Falcon Heights COVID-19
Preparedness Plan.
2. The City Council authorizes the City Administrator to modify and amend the City of Falcon Heights
COVID-19 Preparedness Plan as necessary based on any additional applicable industry guidance posted
to the Stay Safe Minnesota website or further executive order.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights this 24th day of June, 2020.
