SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
JULY 19, 1983
A Special City Council Meeting was called to order by Mayor Warkentien
at 12:00 O~C1ock Noon.
Ma~ror Warkentien, Councilmembers Larson and Ciernia. Also present were PRESENT
Clerk Administrator Barnes and Fiscal Consultant Chenoweth.
Councilmembers Chestovich and Eggert. ABSENT
Fiscal Consultant Chenoweth presented proposed Resolution 83-23 calling FISCAL
the sale of $525,000 General Obligation Tax Increment Bonds to finance CONSULTANT
utilities in Falcon Woods No. 3 and ad,~acent parcels. He explained PRESENTS
the payment schedule on tha bonds and reviewed the information in his RESOLUTION
letter dated July 17th. Clerk Administrator Barnes reviewed the status CALLING FOR
of the proposed purchase of the Hermes property by Hewlett Packard. BOND SALE
Fiscal Consultant Chenoweth informed that if all progresses with the FOR UTILITIES
Good Value development as planned, the increanents from that development IN FAICON
should be sufficient to fund the project without a general tax levy. WOODS 3
After the discussion, Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilmesnber
Larson, that Resolution 83-23 be adopted. Motion carried unanimously.

$525,000 GENERAL OffiIGATION TAX INCREMENT
BONDS FOR 1983
Councilmember Larson requested the Clerk Administrator investigate the HALL RENTAL
cost of procuring dram shop insurance on a yearly basis for rental of
the hall to determine if that might lower the cost to prospective
renters.
Clerk Administrator Barnes informed Council that a workshop will be WORKSHOP TO
held July 27, 1983 at 7:00 P.M. at which time Attorney Hannigan will BE HELD
give Council an update on the lake overflow court decision. 7/27/83 AT
7s00 P.M.
Councilmember Giernia moved, seconded by Councilmember Larson that
the meeting be ad~ouxned at 12;25 P.M. Motion carried unanimously. ADJOURNMENT
