RESOLUTION RECIEVING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND ORDERING PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS FOR ALLEY IMPROVEMENT
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, as follows:
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions of the Council adopted May 12, 2021 a report has been prepared
by the City Engineer with reference to the improvement of the following alley:
• Idaho/Iowa, between Pascal St and Arona St
WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights plans to assess all of a portion of the cost of the improvements
to the benefited property owners, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429,
WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary,
cost effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some
other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended; and a description of the
methodology used to calculate individual assessments for affected parcels.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF FALCON HEIGHTS,
MINNESOTA:
1. The council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the report and the
assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $70,000.00.
2. The City of Roseville Engineering Department is hereby designated as the engineer for this
improvement. The engineer shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such
improvement.
