CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING 4 <br />• MINUTES OF SEPTEMBER 9, 1998 <br />Mayor Gehrz convened the meeting at 7:02 p.m. <br />PRESENT <br />Gehrz, Gibson Talbot, Hustad, Jacobs, and Kuettel. Also present was Hoyt, Asleson, and <br />Olson. <br />COMMUNITY FORUM <br />There was no one wishing to take advantage of the community forum. <br />MINUTES OF AUGUST 21, 1998 <br />Minutes were approved by unanimous consent. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Mayor Gehrz requested that consideration of the purchase of the fitness system equipment <br />be removed from the consent agenda and considered as a policy agenda item. <br />• Councilmember Kuettel moved approval of the following amended consent agenda. The <br />motion passed unanimously. <br />1. Disbursements <br />2. Licenses <br />3. Approval of fire department purchases <br />4. Scheduling the 1999 taxation hearing and continuation hearing <br />5. Approval of additional election judges <br />POLICY AGENDA <br />APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION 98-25 CERTIFYING THE PROPOSED GENERAL FUND <br />BUDGET OF 51,235,773 AND CERTIFIED LEVY OF $597,078 TO THE RAMSEY <br />COUNTY AUDITOR <br />Administrator Hoyt explained that the proposed resolution would certify the preliminary <br />budget of $1,235,773 and proposed levy of 5597,078. The preliminary certified levy <br />cannot be increased but can be reduced when the city certifies the final levy in <br />December. <br />Councilmember Hustad moved approval of Resolution 98-25, certifying the proposed <br />general fund budget of 51,235,773 and certified levy of 5597,078. The motion <br />• passed unanimously. <br />
