CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 46 OF THE
CITY CODE CONCERNING THE AUTHORITY TO SET SPEED LIMITS ON CITY
STREETS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Section 46-5 of the Falcon Heights City Code is amended to read as follows:
Sec. 46-5- Authority to set speed limits on City streets.
The city engineer may establish speed limits for city streets under the city 's jurisdiction in
accordance with the provisions set forth at Minnesota Statutes Section 169.14. The procedures
relied upon to set speed limits pursuant to this section shall be kept by City Engineer and updated
as needed.
SECTION 2. This amended Ordinance shall be effective upon passage and publication.
ADOPTED this 22nd day of September, 2021 by the City Council of Falcon Heights, Minnesota.
