MINUTES OF SPECIAL COUNCII, MEETING
FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA
SEPTEM~Ft 18, 1975
A special meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was
called to order by Mayor Warkentien at 7:l~5 p.m.
Mayor Warkentien, Councilman Black, Ecklund, and Labal®stra. PRESENT
Also present w®re Clerk-Administrator Barnes and Lillian
Duethmann, James Duffy, and Richard Shibrowski of the Re-
creation Advisory Committe®.
Councilman Steele was out of town due to a business ABSENT
commi~aent.
Mayor Warkentien explained to Council and those in 1976 S[TDGET
attendance that a p?~eliminary review of the proposed DISCUSSION
City Budget submitted by the Clerk Administrator was
the purpose of this special meeting.
The Recreation Advisory Committee requested Council to
review the Park Budget first, if possible, so they might
explain to them certain increases they had recommended.
They further requested Council to consider having a Recreation
Director for a twelve (l2) month period on a retainer basis,
not to exceed $1200.00 per annum.
Councilman Ecklund moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien ADJOURNMENT
to ad3ourn the meeting at 11:20 p.m. Upon a vote being
taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien,
Councilmen Black, Ecklund, and Labalestra, and the follow-
ing voted "nay": None. Motion carried.
