AUGUST 28, 1971
A special meeting of the Falcon Heights Council was called to order by Zlayor
~darkent;ien at 9:00 A.I. on August 2~i, 1971.

ABSE'N'T.' : Councilman Taylor.
The purpose of said special meeting was called to order to interview
the three applicants for the vacancy of Clerk-Admir~.istrator to the
Village of Falcon Heights. The three, applicants interviewed were,
t'ir. James Hafner, Mr. Thor,-~as G. Loucks, and P~.r. Dewan B. Barnes.
After deliberation it was decided that the vacancy should be offered
to Mr. Barnes effective October 1, 1971, which Mr. Barnes accepted
urader mutual agreement by the Council and Mr. Barnes, known as
Exhibit"A" on file in the Clerk-Adninistrator's Office.
T~~otion by Mayor Z~yarkentien, seconded by Councilman Ecklund, and
carried.
Motion by Councilman Ecklund, seconded by Councilman Black, and
carried, to authorize Ackermanri and Associates to prepare a feasi-
bility study for the proposed Lic;uor Store not to exceed $1,000.
T-~otion to adjourn at 11:5 A.T°i. was made by Councilman Stone, seconded
by Councilman Black, and carried.
