Canvassing Board Meeting - December 9, 1971
A special meeting of the Canvassing Board was called to order with the
following members present:' Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund,
Stone and Taylor.
The Clerk-Administrator read the following election returns:
For the Office of Mayor
Willis C. A. Warkentien --------------------------------------- 180 Votes
For the Office of Councilman
Norman W. Ecklund --------------------------------------------- 352 Votes
Erma Olson (write-in)"------------=---------------------------- 178 Votes
For the Office of Justice of the Peace
Charles Parsons ----------------------------------------------- 19l~ Votes
Ronald J. Riach ----------------------------------------------- 298 Votes
On motion by Councilman Stone, seconded by Councilman B1.ack, it was voted
unanimously by the Council acting as Canvassing Board to declare the following
persons duly elected to the respective offices and the Clerk Administrator
was .instructed to certify said election returns to the Ramsey County Auditor.
Village Mayor - Willis C. A. Warkentien - term of two years
Village Councilman.- Norman W. Ecklund - term of three years
Justice of the Peace - Ronald J. Riach - term of two years
Upon motion, the meeting was adjourned. - ~
