PRE~~AIT : T~layor t~~?arkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Stone, and Counciltiroman Stocker. Also present were Clerk-Administra- tor Barnes and Engineer Lemberg. STO~ilJ TO DISPLAY FIXTU;.r~S OF i~7INNESOTA The bid fo-r liquor store fixtures eras awarded to Display Fixtures of T~iinnesota, 1966 Benson Avenue, St. Paul, T:innesota, in the amount of y23,795.00. The Clerk-Admin- istrator was authorized to execute the contract. The foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof : P~Tayor ?:rarkentien, Councilman Stone, and Councilwoman Stocker, and the following voted against: Councilmen Black, and Ecklund. >n~hereupon the .resolution eras declared duly passed and adopted. Councilman Black seconded the motion and upon a vote taken thereon, the following voted in favor: T~Iayor ti~+arkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Stone, and Councilwoman Stocker. T~lotion carried. Purchase of a Councils-roman Stocker introduced the follotiring resolution and T1CI~. Cash Register: moved its adoption: ~.ESOLUTIOTd ,~ 72-1~0 iE~LUTIOIQ AUTHORIZING THL PURCHASE OF A NCR C:i.'~~3 REGISTER SERIES 21~-500 FOR THE T~IUIdICIPAL LI~UOrZ STOP~~~ The Clerk-Administrator was authorized to purchase a PJCi~ Cash Register for the sum o.f_ ,i1, 752.05. The above Resolution bras seconded by Councilman Black, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof : T~Iayor 'LTar- kent~_en, Councilmen Blac';, Ecklund., Stone, and Council ,roman Stocker, and the follo~ring voted against : none, ti°dhereupon the :~.esolution was declared duly passed and adopted. Security System Discussion of a security system for. the T~lunicipal Liquor Store Liquor Store: was delayed until the regular meeting of October 26, 1972, in order to have more time to prepare and gather quotations. Hiring of Councilman Ecklund moved that the Clerk-Ac•Cninistrator be Book'.-ceeper authorized to advertise for a bookkeeper effective 12/1/72, 12/1/72: and also that he contact the George T~1. Hansen Company, Auditors, in order to .:yet up a bookkeeping system for the Village of Falcon Iiei~hts Plunicipal Liquor Store. Councilman B1aclc seconded the motion. T•iotion carried. Liquor Store C1e-rk-Administrator Barnes gave his ttao recommendations fo-r T~Ianager: Liquor Store Tanager, and it teas decided by the Council that the;r would further interview the gentlemen on 10/26/72, at 7:00 P.l~I. before makir~ the final decision. Sanitary Sewer It t•ras decided by the Council to table the Sanitary Sewer Budget: Budget until a later date. DFL Zenting A letter to Mayor ?warkentien, dated October 19, 1972, from Village Ha11: T~Irs. tiT. E. Rempel, 1tt2~~ 1~:Test Belmont Lane, 1?.oseville, a mem- ber of the 62B District DFL Club, asking for use of the Village Ha11 for regular meeting of the DFL C1_ub on every third tidednesday, Z~Tas brought to the Council's attention. M 1 Village Council Chambers Service Charge Council~oraan Stocker suggested that there should be a service charge fo-r all non-official meetings authorized by the Council. Councilz=~or~an Stoc1_cer made the follot~rir~ motion and moved its adoption: That there be a service charge of <~1y.00 for janitorial and overhead expense for any meetings other than official Village meetir~s. ~~10.00 of this chaz'ge trould go for any janitorial wor'_,, and ~~5.00 for general overhead expense. Lach -recuest must come before the Council not more than fifteen days in advance. Counci.~nan Stone seconded the motion.
