SPECIAL MEETIPIG OF THE CANVASSING EOARD
Canvassing Board AZeeting -December 6, 1973
A special meeting of the Canvassing Board was called to order with the following
members present: Councilmen Blaak, Ecklund, and St one.
The Clerk-Administrator read the following election returns:
For the Office of Mayor
Willis C. A. Warkentien ------------------------------------ 911 votes
James R. Ross ---------------------------------------------- 387 votes
Tom ~Tahnke - write-in -------------------------------------- 2 votes
Bruce E. Jones - write-in ---------------------------------- 1 vote
For the Office of Councilman

it was voted by the Councilmembers acting as Canvassing Board to declare the
following persons duly elected to the respective offices and the Clerk-Ad-
ministrator was instructed to certify said election returns to the Ramsey
County Auditor.
Village Mayor - Willis C. A. Warkentien -term of two years
Village Councilmember - Gene Steele -term of three years
Village Councilrrrember --~Lu Stocker -term of three years
Justice of the Peace - Ronald J. ,Riach -term. of twp .years
Upon motion the meeting was adjourned.

A special meeting of the Canvassing Board was called to order with the following
members present: Councilmen Black, Ecklund, and Stone.
The Clerk Administrator read the following election returns:
Special Election -Park Referendum
"Shall the Village of Falcon Heights be authorized to borrow money on the
authority of its general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed
u100,000.00 for the purposes of park improvement:"

it was voted by the Councilmembers acting as Canvassing Board that said proposition
was duly passed by a majority vote of the electors, and the Clerk-Administrator
was instructed to certify said election returns to the Ramsey County Auditor.
Special Election - Split Liquor Issue
"Shall the Village of Falcon Heights be authorized to issue on-sale liquor
licenses to private persons in con unction with a hotel or restaurant as
defined in Minnesota Statutes 30.07?"
