SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CANVASSING BOARD

Canvassing Board Meeting -November 6, 197, 5:30 p.m.
A special meeting of the Canvassing Board was called to order with the follmring
members present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Black, Ecklund, Steele, and
Labalestra
The Clerk-Administrator read the following election returns:
Special Election -Liquor Referendum
"The City of Falcon Heights is currently authorized to issue ion-sale'
liquor licenses for hotels, restaurants and clubs, but Sunday sales
are prohibited. Sha11 the City of Falcon Heights be authorized to
issue special licenses to hotels, restaurants or r„lubs for the sale
of intoxicating liquor between the hours of 12:00 noon and 12:00
midnight on Sundays, in con3unction with the serving of food?"

Upon motion by (:rnmni 7 mAn S+ QP~_ ,seconded by Councilman Labalestra ,
it was voted by the Councilmembers acting as Canvassing Board that said proposition
was duly pa:~aAd , by a majority vote of the electors, and the Clerk-
Administrator was instructed to certify said election returns ~Eo the Ramsey
County Auditor. Motion by Councilman Black, seconded by Councilman Steele to
adjourn at 5:50 p.m. Motion carried.
