Special Meeting was called to order at 9:45 A.M. Present were: Mayor Warkentein,
Councilmen Black, Stone, and Ecklund. Also present were Clerk Strandquist, Treasurer
Olsen and Enginear Lemberg.
Bids on Two Way Representatives of Air Com, Donner Communications and Motorola
Communication were present. Jerry Renchin, Volunteer Fireman, was present to
Radio: ask e;uestions of the bidders.
Upon inquiry, the following additional information was
presented: The cases were made of metal (Air Com), plastic
(Mobobola), and aluminum (Donner); the unit price would be
the same if ordered within six months; all units carry a
separate serial number.
It was pointed out that a major determining factor should
be Solid State Transistor in the monitors.
Ecklund moved to accept the low bid of Donner Communications
at the bid price of $6,230.00 with the Maintenance covering
the two mobile radio units for $5.00 per unit per month, a
total of $120 per year. The Mayor and Clerk are author3.zed
to enter into a contract with Donner Communications. Ayes:
Warkentein, Stone, Black and Ecklund. Nays: None. Motion carried.
Election Judges: Stone moved, Black seconded that the following people be approved
for Election Judges for the December 3, 196$ Village Election:
Precinct l: Mrs. Ruth Martin -Chairman
Mrs. Laura Rust
Mrs. James Jaros
Precinct 2: Mrs. Edward Johnson -Chairman
Mrs. Mary Lou Sturm
