MEETING OF MARCH 26, 1970
The regular meeting of March 26, 1970 was called to order at 7:00 P.M. with the
following members present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, EckJ.und and Stone.
Also present were Treasurer Olsen and Engineer Lemberg. Attorney Seed arrived at
735 ahdClerk Taylor arrived at 9:x.5 P.M.
Minutes: Stone moved that the minutes of the meeting of March 12,
1970 be approved as corrected. Warkentien seconded and
motion carried.
Tennis Courts Attorney Seed, Councilman Black and Falcon Heights School
Contract: Attorney will meet at a designated time to discuss wording
of the tennis court lease including hours to be used by
Falcon Heights Village.
Tractor -Mower: Engineer Lemberg stated that another Village had purchased
last fall a 14 H.P. riding tractor mower with cab, tractor,
snowblower and broom for $1989. This was discussed and
tabled until Clerk Taylor obtains more information at a
later date.
Don Bona - B & E Don Bona of the B & E Patrol appeared at the meeting at
Patrol: the request of the Council to discuss the new ordinance,
and to offer suggestions .
Dog Ordinance - Ecklund moved the adoption of Ordinance No. lOl, AN ORDIN-
No. 101: ANCE REGISTERING AND REGULATING THE KEEPING OF DOGS AND
REPEALING ORDINANCE NOS. 39, 55, 79• Black seconded and
motion carried.
Dog Catcher and Black moved that the B & E Patrol be retained as dog cat-
Pound Keeper for eher and pound keeper for the Village for the year 1970.
1970: Ayes: Warkentien, Taylor, Black, Stone. Nays: Ecklund.
Motion carried.
Dog Complaint at Mrs. Y,owell Sisson, 1879 West Larpenteur Avenue, appeared
Larpenteur and at the meeting to complain of a large black labrador dog
Tatum: which is running at large constantly, day and night, doing
a good deal of damage.
Dog Registration The clerk was instructed to order dog registration forms
Forms: in quadruple on next order so that the B & E Patrol can
have one copy.
Fire Reports: Ecklund read Fire Reports Nos. J~, 5, 6.
Bills: Stone moved the following bills be paid.:
