Pdeeting was called to order at 7s30 P.3~1. with the following members
of the council presents Harold Nilsen, Mayor; George Shavor, Trustee;
'~~Tillis Warkentien, Trustee; iPl. A. ~fiortenson, Clerk and Brad Lemberg,
Village Engineer.
tyir. Kenneth Fletcher Quarn, 1721 Van Buren Ave, was interviewed for
the possibility of hiring him as viLl.age street maintenance man. Other
duties due to be performed included flushing sewers, steaming culverts,
flooding skating rinks, cleaning street drains, village ha11 building
maintenance, and other duties under supervision of Village Engineer.
The hours of work were to be from 8:00 A.M. to x.:30 P. M. with 2 hour
for lunch. The compensation offered was ~~.75.0~0 per month, with a
review of scale in three months.
After a discussion of various aspects of the work, Mr. Quarn said he
would notify ~~iayor Nilsen the next day as to his decision.
Meeting adjourned at 9:x.5 P.M.
