SPECIAL MEETING OF JULY 15, 1963
The special meeting Ras called to ord®r at 7s4fl P.M. with the foll.awi.ng members
being presents Acting Mayor George J. Shaver; Clerk ~i'. A. Mortensen; Trusties
Charles P. Stone, 9~illis ~Parkentien. Absent: Mayer Harold Nilsen.
Bomber Mortensen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoptions

of 1963: previously ordered the follcaring public improvements
2. Improvement of Roselasrn Avenue by the installation of be
watermains and lot services on Roselaam Avenue between the
East line of Autumn and the ~®st line of Fairview Avenue,

a) Tatum Avenue from Larpenteur Ave. to Roselawn Avenue
b) Fairview Ave, from Larpenteur Ave. to Roselawn Avern~e
c) Fry Street From Larpenteur Ave, to Garden Avetrue
d) St. Mary's Avenue from Larp. Ave. to Maple Kno11 Drive.
e) Garden Ave, from Fry Street to Snelling Avenue
f) Maple R'no11 Dr. from Fry Street to Garden Avenue
g) Autwoml Ave. from Roselawn to Prior Avenue
h) Summer Street from Moore Ave. to Howell Avenue
i) Prior Avenue from Roselawn Ave South to a point 9fl.lila.

3. Improvement of Lindig Avenue by installation of sanitary
:soarers from the North line of Larpenteur Avenue to a point
1,267.25 feet North of Larpenteur Avenue.

NCN, THEREFCRE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the
Village of Falcon Heights, that
1, Said improvements, which were separately instituted, can
be more economically completed if they are consolidated
as one proceeding, and those improvesaents are hereby
consolidated as one proceeding.
2. Th® Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted
in the official Village paper and in atiy other publication
1965
required by lair an advertisement for bids upon the
making of said improvements. The advertisement shall
be published for 21 days, shall specif~r the work to be
done, sha11 state that the bids will be opened and
considered. by the Go~cil at $a00 P.M. on the lath
day of August, 1963 in the Council Chambers of the
Vi7.lage Hall and That no bids will be considered
unl®ss sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied
by a cash deposit, cashiers cheek, bid bond, or
certified check payable to the Clerk for 5~ of the
amount of such bid.
Accepted by the Council this 15th day of July 1963.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded by member Shavor, and upon a vote being taken
thereon the follo:ing voted in favor thereof: Shavor,
Mortenson, Stone, and ~arkentien, and the following against
the same: None.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and
adopted.
