CANVASSING BOARD ~:~~ETING

71E'DNESDAY, DECEMBER 9, 196l~
The Canvassing Board Meeting was called to order at 7s00 P. M. Present
were the following: P~ayor Harold C~ Nilsen; Village Clerk W. A. Mortenson;
Trustees William Black and Charles Stone. Also present was Deputy Clerk
Tina Vavoulis.
In connection with the canvass of votes for the election of officers for
the Village of Falcon Heights, at the annual Village Election which was held
on December 8, 196., the Villa ge Clerk read the following election returns:
For the Office of Village Clerk=
Herbert H. Strandquist 257 votes
M. E. Timmons 130
For the Office of Trustee:
Charles P. Stone 300
Jerome Wilczyk $$

For.'the Office of Justice of the Peace - two year term:
Jerome Beardsley
327
For the Office of Justice of the Peace - to fill vacancy - one year
Paul L. Coppini
329
On motion by Mortenson, seconded by Black, it was voted unanimously to
declare the following duly elected to office, and that the Clerk be
instructed to certify said election returns to the County Auditor.
Herbert H. Strap dquist was elected Village Clerk for a
term of two years.
Charles P. Stone was elected Trustee for a term of
three years.
Jerome Beardsley was elected Justice of the Peace for
a term of two years,
Paul L. Coppini was elected Justice of the Peace for
one year to fill vacancy created
by resignation of Dwain Z. Jones.

Adjournments On motion, the Canvassing Board meeting was adjourned at
7:30 P. M.
