M. with the following members presents Mayor Nilsen, Clerk Strandquist, Trustees Stone, Black and Warkentien. Also present were Engineer Lemberg, Attorney Galvin and Treasurer Olsen. Minutes Stone moved, seconded by Strandquist that minutes of the regular meeting of August 11, 19b5 be approved. Motion carried. Correspondence University Grove Letter from Engineer Lemberg uhder date of August 2!~ stated Area Playground: that University has advised that no exact location could be designated at the present time for a proposed playground. Deane R. Anklan Notice dated August 18, 1965 from County Engineer Deane County Engineer R, Ant€lan stated that County Board will accept assessments Res Assessments for storm sewers against county roads and county lands on a ratio of use formula. Bus Route Changes Clerk wes requested to address letter to Twin City Lines, Inc. requesting information as to possible future bus routes in this area. Fairview Avenue Attorney Galvinss letter of August 2!~ addressed to R. K. Lots fronting on Magnuson, building inspector, outlined procedure to be Luidig.:Street: followed with respect to issuance of building permits for future lots on east side of Lindig Street. Snow Fence - Morris A. Mitteness, Farm and Grounds Superintendent of Fry Street at the University of Minnesota, under date of August 16 Garden Avenues advised that permission is granted to ins tall snow fence on Fry Street and Garden Avenue on University property. Northeast Area Richard Turnlund, Roseville Village Manager, stated that Storm Sewer efforts are being made to have information available for Improvement 65-1 public hearing that has been continued to September 29th. Roseville: T®chnical Committee Eugene Avery, under date of August 19 replied to Mayor of St. Paul -,.Sewer Nilsen's inquiry regarding the Technical Committee's Rates action. Reservation of Request of William Korstad to reserve Village Hall for Village Halls a Republican meeting on September 13, 1965 at 8s30 P.M. was approved. Water Main and Sanitary Sewer An inquiry shall be directed to the Board of Regents of Improvement 1963 - the University of Minnesota as to payment of assessment University Assessment: for ~atermain and Sanitary Serer 2mprovement of 1963. Recreation Program - A letter of appreciation will be forwarded to Superintendent Falcon Heights Emmett Williams for use of the playground area and the school Elementary School gym at Falcon Heights Elementary School during the recreation Playground: program of this summer. 2286 1 1 A. Precast curbs for village parking lot: Billet Adjournment: Stone moved, seconded by Warkentien that engineer be authorized to order pre-cast curbs for the parking lot adjacent to village hall.
