HomeMy WebLinkAboutCCMin_66Dec31_Special2l~97 SPECIAL '~~,fEETING OF DECE!',~BLR 31, 1966 The special meeting was called to order at 9:00 A.M. with the following council members present: Mayor Nilsen, Clerk Strandquist, Councilmen ti~larkentien, Stone and Black, PElinutes: Strandquist moved, seconded by Stone that the minutes of the regular meeting of December 28, 1966 be approved. Ayes: All. Nays: None, motion was carried. Proposed Contract The formal contract for police protection by the Ramsey for Police County Sheriff's Department was submitted by that Protection by Department. After review and discussion, council Sheriff's members agreed that a meeting with Assistant County Department: Attorney Quayle and representative of the Sheriff's Department will be set at a later date. N.E. Area Storm Stone moved,. seconded by l~larkentien that one check in Sewer Improvement payment of Estimate No. 4 and Final due the contractor 65-1 - Estimate for the Northeast Storm Sewer Improvement 65-1 be issued No. ~. and Final: jointly to the Commercial Cartage Company and the Elk River Products Company. Ayes: A11. Nays; None. l+mtion was carried. N.E.Area Storm Transfer of funds from the N.E. Area Storm Sewer Improvement Sewer Imprw ement Fund to the General Fund in the amount of X2,313.95 was 65-1 - Transfer authorized by the Council. It has been determined that of Funds: the above amount drawn on the General Fund Account should have been draz~m from the N.E. Area Storm Surer Improvement 65-1 Account. Police Officer Officer Dewey A. Smith's record, with particular regard Dewey A. Smith to time taken off from regular duties due to previous Record to be back injury, will be reviewed and discussed with him at Reviewed: the council meeting of January 11, 1967, Clerk is directed to send letter to Officer Smith (with copy to Police Commissioner Arndt) requesting that he appear before the council on above date. Tape Recorder: Stone moved, seconded by Black that the Recreation Department be authorized to purchase three tapes for the tape recorder to be used at the Idaho-Snelling skating rink. Ayes: All. Nays: None. Notion was carried. Secretarial Stone moved, seconded by Nilsen that the Village of Falcon Duties of r.4rs. Heights pay Mrs, Dorothy Ackerman Sk21.00 for secretarial work Dorothy Ackerman: performed while the Deputy Clerk was on vacation. Motion was carried.
