SPECIAL MEETING DECEMBER 7, 1967
The special meeting was called to order at 7 x30 P.M. with the follc~cring
members present3 Clerk Strandquist, Council men Warkentien, Stone and Black.
Also present was Attorney Kyle.
The Village Clerk read the following election returns.
For the Office of Mayor
Joseph Bianchi 27l~ votes
Willis Warkentien 757 votes
For the Office of .Councilman
Charles Stone 963 votes
James Dixon (write-in) 1 vote
For the Office of Treasurer
William E. Olsen 97~. votes
For the Office of Justice of the Peace
William P. Carroll 593 votes
Paul L. Coppini 389 votes
Betty_Ernst (write-in) 1 vote
William: Helms . (write-iti) 2 votes
J. Bianchi (write-in) 1 vote
On motion by Black, seconded by Strandquist, it was voted unanimously
by the Council acting as Canvassing Board to declare the following
persons duly elected to the respective offic es and the Clerk was
instructed to certify said election returns to the Ramsey County
Auditor.
Mayor Willis Warkentien for taro years;
Village Councilman Charles P. Stone for three years;
Village Treasurer William E. Olsen for two years;
Justice of the Peace William P. Carroll
