I~deeting was called to order at 8 P. M., the following Council Members being
present: Harold C. Nilsen, ~2ayor; George J. Shavor, Trustee; Va~illis "Markentien,
Trustee; Paul Coppini, Trustee and V'!m. R. Utecht, Clerk. Also present were `4~tm.
E. Olsen, Treasurer and Ethel E. V'y'hite, Deputy Clerk and Deputy Treasurer.

Financing Printing and Lithographing Co., 322 So. 11th St., Minneapolis, Minn.
was read. It stated he was enclosing a copy of a resolution re-
lating to the issuance of the 467,000. Village of Falcon Heights
Larpenteur Avenue Watermain and Pumping Station Improvement
Series A Bonds.
Attorney Graham's letter of October 2nd to r.4ayor Nilsen was
read. It advised it would. be perfectly all right if the resolu-
tion is passed at the regular meeting, October 8th. The resolu-
tion was discussed at length but action was deferred until October
8th.

Salaries Gordon H. Nelson, Chief; Albert J. Helbig, Asst. Chief; Robt. A.
Fire De- Dowdell, Captain and Herbert G. Nelson, Lieutenant of the Falcon
partment Heights Volunteer Fire Department appeared before the Council to
request an increase in salary for the Paid Firemen. better of
October 5th, signed by the Paid Firemen and Officers of the
Volunteer Fire Department was read. It outlined sub-gested salary
increases. Wage Rate Review of the surrounding communities was
also presented, This was checked and discussed, It was agreed
that the Council would study the matter further and try to reach
a decision by Thursday ni~-ht when the Paid Men and Officers will
be present at 7 P. T.2.
