C. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Chair Mercer-Taylor made a motion to approve the agenda. Agenda was approved by
consent.
D. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. October 9, 2023
Commissioner Christiansen made a motion to approve the minutes from October 9, 2023.
Minutes were approved by consent.
E. NEW BUSINESS
1. Partners in Energy – Partner Discussion
Staff Liaison Lynch opened the discussion by stating she met with the Partners in Energy
team about upcoming open houses and workshops. She asked the Commission to discuss
potential dates in February for the first open house. Commissioners discussed and decided
February 21, 2024 was a good date for the open house. They also discussed potentially having
two open houses, in the form of one open house, the first workshop, and then a second open
house. Staff Liaison Lynch stated she would run this by the team. She presented draft letters
and emails to send out for recruiting for Partners in Energy, and a drafted application. The
Commission discussed and made a few changes.
F. Information and Announcements
1. Staff Liaison Report – Staff Liaison Lynch stated she ordered three of the PurpleAir
Quality monitors and is in the process of trying to set them up. She stated two more
would be ordered once it is determined the first three were performing well. She passed
around one of the monitors for the Commissioners to examine.
2. Council Liaison Report – None.
