n4eetingwas called to order at 7:30 P. ~,~. , t~ e following I~~4embers of the Council
being present: Harold C. Nilsen, r.Rayor; Charles P. Stone, Trustee; W. A.
A:4ortenson, Village Clerk. Also present was Ethel E. White, Deputy Clerk and
Deputy Treasurer.
The Clerk read the following returns of the Village Election December 5th, 1961:

Harold C. Nilsen 167 votes
George Kulkay 2 votes
Harold Schvrarten 1 vote
For Trustee:
Charles P. Stone 175 votes
For Treasurer:
Wm. E. Olsen 17li votes
For Justice of peace:
Edwin A. Johnson 171 votes
Richard ?jinn 1 vote
Albert Helbig 1 vote
On motion by Pvlortenson, seconded by Stone, it was voted unanimously to declare
the following duly elected to office, and that the Clerk be instructed to
certify the said election returns to the County Auditor.
Harold C. Nilsen was elected A.4ayor for a term of two years; Charles P. Stone
was elected Trustee for a term of three years; PJilliam E. Olsen was elected
Treasurer for a ±,erm of two years; and Edwin A. Johnson was elected Justice of
peace for a term of two years.
Clerk "ROrtenson administered the oath of office to Harald. C. Nilsen and Charles
P. Stone.
