Nilsen, Mayor; George J, Shavor, Trustee; V~, A, Mortenson, Clerk. also r~resent were Wm. E. Olsen, Treasurer and r,thel E, l~Thite, Deputy Clerk and ?deputy Treasurer. Absent: Charles P, Stone, Trustee; and 'J~illis Warkentien, Trustee. It was moved by Shavor, seconded by P1lortenson and voted that the i~iinutes of April 9, 1962 be approved as submitted. It was moved by Nilsen, seconded by Shavor and voted that the Minutes of April 18th be anvroved as submitted. License: All requirements having been met, it was moved by Nilsen, seconded by Shavor and voted to issue Toaster Plumbers License #79 to James P, Reilly, dba T. J. Reilly Plumbing & Heating, Inc., 908 Edmund Avenue, St. Paul, fit, Minnesota. Variance, After discussion, it was moved by Nilsen, seconded by Pdortenson Donker: and voted to anr~rove the following resolution for variance: WHEREAS, John D. Donker is the owner of the certain real estate in the Village of Falcon Heights described as the middle 5 acres of the North (?) of the West (~) of the East 60 acres of the Southwest (-~,) of Section 16, Township 29, Range 23, except South 1125 feet subject to roads, and WHEREAS, the said John D. Donker has submitted an application for variance and Raid the requisite fee to the zoning administrator of Falcon Heights, and WHEP~EAS, there are practical difficulties.or t~articular hardships in carrying out the strict requirements of Ordinance No. 64, known as the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Falcon Heights, particularly with reference to the minimum frontage of 90 feet required for corner lots, NOW THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, that a variance permit is granted for the above described real estate, and John D. Donker is authorized to split the above described prouerty into two (2) lots, the northern lot to have a frontage of 83.7 feet on Tatum Street and 1~j0.25 feet on Roselawn Avenue, and the Southern lot to have 75 feet frontage on Tatum Street and a depth of lIt0.25 feet, as is more fully shown in the drawing prepared by Charles 0, !'=eorgie Company, Registered Land Surveyor, which is on file with the Village Clerk and made a part hereof by reference. 1 Court The Deputy Clerk was instructed to send the City of Vdhite Beer Lake Costs: a check for °15.00 to cover cost of trial on ticket #l~662, with the request tha+„ they sign the verified account form and return same to us. Sewer The Deputy Clerk was instructed to write the resident at 1592 Maple Knoll Drive advising him of the necessity of hooking up to the sewer. 149 Dogs There arras a discussion regarding the :I~og Ordinance. Clerk ~liortenson will revise present ordinance and submit same to the Council for approval. Building D. Roberts showed plans for apartment he proposes to construct Permit on his property on Larpenteur Avenue, West of Fairview. After D. Roberts: discussion, Shavor moved that the Building Inspector be author- ized to issue a building Hermit for the-~rroposed ar~artment to be located on the Roberts property as covered by building Hermit #788.
