CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF THE FALCON HEIGHTS CITY CODE CONCERNING STEWARDSHIP OF CITY RESOURCES
Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 412.191, in the case of a lengthy ordinance, a summary may be published. While a copy of the entire ordinance is available without cost at the office of the City Clerk, the following summary is approved by the City Council and shall be published in
lieu of publishing the entire ordinance:
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the ordinance adopted by the City Council does the following:
• Establishes a new Article IX in Chapter 2 of the City Code governing the stewardship and
use of City resources and City property to ensure lawful, nondiscriminatory, and public-purpose use.
• Prohibits City employees and public officials from authorizing or using City resources for enforcement of federal immigration law, discriminatory purposes, or personal benefit,
except when authorized by a judicial warrant or other lawful process.
• Prohibits the use of City property for staging operations related to federal immigration enforcement unless authorized by lawful judicial process.
• Establishes reporting requirements for prohibited or denied uses of City resources, affirms compliance with state and federal law, and includes severability and effective-date
provisions.
This ordinance shall be effective upon passage. APPROVED for publication by the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota this
11th day of February, 2026.
