RESOLUTION REVOKING A2026 MUNICIPAL BUSINESS LICENSE AND 2026
MASSAGE THERAPY LICENSE ISSUED TO
FRENCH r\4CJryINC. (CROCUS HrLL ACUPUNCTURE)atule
WHEREAS' on January 29,2026, the City of Falcon Heights received from the Minnesota
Department of Revenue a Notice of License Revocation for French Made Inc.
(Crocus Hill Acupuncture), located at 1579 Hamline Ave. N.; and
WHEREAS, Minn. 9tat.270C32, subd. I states: "The'state or a political subdivision of the
state may not issue, transfer, or renew, and must revoke, a license for the conduct of a
profession, occupation, trade or business, if the commissioner notifies the licensing authority that
the applicant owes the state delinquent taxes payable to the commissioner, penalties or interest.
WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights mailed the business owner, Mr. French, on February 2,
2026, included the Notice of License Revocation from the Department of Revenue, and advised
Mr. French that a public hearing would be held on February 25,2026 to consider revocation of
his2026 Municipal Business and2026 Massage Therapy License in accordance with City Code
Sec. 14-3 andl4-4.
WHEREAS, Unless Mr. French resolves his delinquency with the State of Minnesota and the
City of Falcon Heights receives a Tax Clearance Certificate from the Minnesota Department of
Revenue on or prior to March 11,2026, then the City of Falcon Heights shall revoke his2026
Municipal Business License and2026 Massage Therapy License.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Falcon Heights,
Minnesota:
1. That the license revocation is accepted by the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights if the
City does not receive a Tax Clearance Certificate from the Minnesota Department of Revenue on
or prior to March 11,2026
