A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DECLARATION OF VARIOUS PUBLIC WORKS
MACHINERY AS SURPLUS EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS, the City Administrator is authorized to recommend City property that has reached its useful
life be declared surplus; and
WHEREAS, one Wacker Neutson RD12 Asphalt Roller and one 350DX Energy Absorption
Trailer have depreciated to zero dollars in internal value and no longer hold useful value to the City of
Falcon Heights; and
WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights now outsources the work done that both pieces of equipment
would aid in because of safety concerns.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights,
Minnesota:
l. That the City Council declares (1) Wacker Neutson RD12 Asphalt Roller and (1)
350DX Energy Absorption Trailer as surplus equipment.
2. That the City Administrator is authorized to negotiate with Purple Wave Auction to sellthe
truck.
