SPECIAL MEETING - FRIDAY, JULY 1, 1919

The special meeting of the Council was called to order at 2:l~0 p.m. by Mayor pro tem,
George Shavor. In the absence-of the deputy clerk, the minutes were recorded by Art
Lindig. Shavor read a waiver of notice from Lynn Matteson, Mayor, of the meeting and
a consent to the agreement with the Village of Roseville to inventory the VfTard LaFrance
pumper at X9,000. The revised fire equipment inventory dated July 1, 19l~9 of the ap-
praisers of the fire equipment formerly belonging to Town of Rose and naw belonging to
Resolution re fire #~e_;ViiZages~~ditRos~~sil~.e}v.Facon..H~ights and Lauderdale was
equipment inventory considered. Upon motion of Rysgaard, seconded by Shavor, the
following resolution was adopted:
RESOLVED, that the Fire Equipment Inventory dated July 1,
19l~9 showing a total va~.uation of ~23,51~7.68 be and it hereby
is approved,
RESOLVID FURTHER, that the proposed division of the above
amount as follows:
Village of Roseville (59%) $13,893.13
Town of Rose (l~l~) 9,651.55

The Town of Rose share to be further divided as follows:
Village of Lauderdale (24.9) 2,l~03.98
Village of Falcon Heights (75.1%) 7,250.57

be and it hereby is approved.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the delivery to the Village of
Falcon Heights of equipment shown on the said inventory includ-
ing the 500 gallon fire engine, of a total value of
X10,877.55, to be used by the Village of Falcon Heights to
set up its fire department, be and it hereby is approved, and
that the excess of this value over the Town of Rose share of
the equipment, X1,223.00 be paid on or before August 1, 1949•
Resolution re Upon motion of Rysgaard, seconded by Lindig, the following
mutual cooperation resolution was eldopted.
between Roseville RESOLVED, that the Village of Falcon Heights hereby agrees
and Falcon Heights that, until delivery of the new pumper ordered by the Village
Fire Departments of Roseville and upon request of the Chief or officer in
charge of the Roseville Fire Department, it will send the 500
gal. fire engine with a driver and one man to fires in the
Village of Roseville, without charge; this agreement to be
conditioned upon the agreement of the Village of Roseville
for the same period upon the request of the. Chief or officer
in charge of the Falcon Heights Fire Department, to send its,
tank truck with a driver and one man to fires in the Villages
of Falcon Heights and Lauderdale, without charge.
