The meeting was called to order at 9:00 p.m. at Lynn 1t~latteson~s home.
After a discussion of automobile insurance rates for police cars,
Shavor moved that tr:e Council establish the policy of pa~;~i_nL, to
police officers for the additional cost of public li4bility in-
surance on their automobiles to the e~.tent of the difference be-
tween the private passenger car rates and the classification used
for policy officers, based on Bureau rates. motion seconded by
I~Iatteson and carried.

In connection VJi th discussion of the public safety fund: ;~atteson
moved to suspend patrolling on t'..e part of the two police officers
until further action by the Council, with the provision. that the
police officers continue to answer calls. Lotion seconded by
Rysgaard and carried by a unanimous vote.
On motion, the meeting; adjourned at 10:30 ..
