AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER2? OF THE F'ALCON HEIGHTS CITY
CODE CONCERNING UNNECESSARY NOISE
Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 412.191, in the case of a lengthy ordinance, a summary
may be published. While a copy of the entire ordinance is available without cost at the office of
the City Clerk, the following summary is approved by the City Council and shall be published in
lieu of publishing the entire ordinance:
The purpose of this ordinance is to amend Chapter 22 of the Falcon Heights City Code to
(i) adopt a new provision concerning prohibited noises; (ii) provide limits on hours during
which the use or operation of power equipment, refuse hauling, radios, and construction
activities may occur on weekdays, weekends, and holidays in the city and (iii) require a
noise impact statement for certain changes in zoning classifications, permits and licenses.
This ordinance shall be effective upon passage.
