Minutes of Regular meeting, July 11, of Board of Review meeting, July 12 and of Regular meeting July 13, were read. With reference to minutes of July 13 meeting, Shavor pointed out that a representative from the local paper was present throughout this entire meeting, and that $tre Chief Swanson was merely requested to leave the meeting while matters affecting his employment were discussed. He was present during the discussion. Shavor moved that the minutes of acid meetings be approved, inoluding minutes of the July 13 meeting as corrected. Lindig seoonded anal motion oarrie d. The group was informed to line up their proposed program and to have a representative present details to the council for action at the next meeting. Communications: Letter from Paul Swenson, Managing Editor, The Minneapolis Tribune., requesting information on home and commercial building in Falcon Heights, was read and referred to Building Inspector Reichow. After discussion as to need of a sanitary ordinance, Henry moved that the matter be referred to Art Lindig for study and report at the next meeting. Seconded by Shavor and carried by unanimous vote. Barthol Villas Rekstad reported that the owner of a lot in Barthol Villas, Por which the council has ordered no building permit to be issued, states he has opportunity to sell the lot to a party who intends to build on it. Also stated that when the lot was purchased the Township building inspector informed the present owner that the lot was suitable for building. Attorney Graham advised against Issuing the building permit. Graham, Attorney Meeting reconvened at 8:00 p.m. Village Assessor William Torgerson presented reoords oovering completed assessments for both real and personal property. Several assessments were considered by the Board. The books were then approved as presented by the Village Assessor. The meeting ad3ourned at 8:15 pm. Approved: Mayor
