Chairman, C. 'N. Eckman spoke about the nozzle needed by the Fire Department
Fire Dept. in case of basement fires in the business area. Also outlined
Committee briefly the proposed schedule for meetings of his committee.
The Council extended him a vote of thanks for his report and for
his services in 1950.
Deluge Letter of January 19, 1951, from Halprin Supply Company, stating
nozzle they could ship the deluge nozzle without the 15" extension, the
latter not being absolutely necessary in their opinion. Stewart
moved that if the Fire Chief finds that the bact~$eianzpipe can be
made locally that the deluge nozzle be ordered as par letter from
the Halprin Supply Company. Seconded by Rekstad and motion carried.
• Fence Stewart reported contacting Roseville's clerk as to securing the
posts Town's share of steel fence posts, Nir. Membrez stating that the
• i posts could be had when snow fence is taken down next spring in
Roseville. The clerk was directed to write Roseville that this
arrangement is satisfactory.
Extra Fire The clerk also reported phone call from Btiayor Bronkala that
equipment, Lauderdale's council were in agreement as to Lauderdale paying
Lauderdale for extra fire equipment called for when necessary in connection
with fires in their area.
Suburban Shavor reported on attendance and action taken at a recent meeting

Civilian Rekstad reported on the Civilian Defense meeting and movies held

Cabinets After discussion, Henry moved that Shavor and Stewart be appointed
and Shelves as a committee to lay out a plan and to secure materials for cabinet

Ceiling After discussion, Henry moved that Rekstadt be appointed as a

the Village Hall and to bring in a recommendation. Seconded by
Stewart and carried unanimously.
1950 Census Letter of January 16, 1951, from Bureau of Census, ~+ashington, D.C.,
advising that the. preliminary 1950 population of Falcon Heights
is 3,861.

Proposed The matter of a sanitary ordinance was discussed, together with
Sanitary services furnished by the State in this connection. It was agreed
Ordinance to have Attorney Graham and Trustee Lindig study the matter further
with the idea of presenting their recommendations at the February
13, 1951, meeting.
