A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN EXTENSION OF THE COMMUNICATIONS SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH GOFF PUBLIC
WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights entered into an agreement with Goff Public in 2026 to provide
communications support related to the Les Bolstad Golf Course redevelopment project, including
messaging surrounding the purchase announcement, recaps of Community Advisory Committee (CAC)
meetings, and monthly public project updates; and
WHEREAS, the City established a not-to-exceed budget of $10,000 for these services, which has now
been fully utilized; and
WHEREAS, Goff Public has extensive experience in public sector communications and has provided
timely, high-quality support to the City consistent with the agreed-upon scope of work; and
WHEREAS, continued communication and public engagement are necessary to ensure residents and
stakeholders remain informed throughout the ongoing redevelopment process; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds remain available in the Les Bolstad project account to support an extension
of this contract, though expenditures are not eligible for reimbursement through the Metropolitan Council
grant; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota
that the City Council hereby authorizes an additional amount not to exceed $10,000 for continued
communications services from Goff Public; and
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council authorizes the City Administrator to execute all
necessary documents to extend and administer this agreement.
