Rees Letter of August 14 from Mr. Rees relating to stopping of water
property from National .Tea Store roof from getting into the Larpenteur
matters avenue sewer, resurfacing of existing alley behind the stores
north of Larpenteur, and proposed opening of new alley to
Crawford.
7-alley Letter of August 26 from Engineer Carley reporting on completion
improvement oP paving of the seven alleys except for final seal coat and
sand which will be placed after a tan-day During period.
Rees Letter oP August 26 Prom Engineer Carley relative to his survey
alleys of alleys behind the business properties north of Larpenteur.
Copy will be furnished Mr. Rees.
Rate Schedule The clerk reported that the Northern States Power Company had
for gas filed with him a copy of Rate Schedule for General Gas Service,
effective in the Village after August 1, 1952.

. Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. Andrew Hustrulid, Chairman,
Fire Department Committee, appeared before the council and presented a
suggested 1953 Fire Department budget in written form signed by_.his committee.
1953 After reviewing these and other 1953 budget estimates for various Village
Budget Punds, the meeting was recessed at 10 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Thursday,
September 18, 1952.
